Michael Lisk is the Owner and School Director of Golden Paws Pet Styling Academy . He has owned and operated The Pet Salon since 2000. Mr. Lisk has successfully increased sales year after year with his excellent business skills, leadership and communication skills. He is well versed in marketing strategies and the use of technology. He is also trained in the “Golden Paws Method” of pet styling instruction, a nearly 4 decade proven program that allows the student to maximize their pet styling skills to apply to AKC breed designs and individual customer requests. The student will benefit from Mr. Lisk’s leadership, experience, vision and innovation.
Peggy Bayne, Instructor, is an accomplished pet stylist proficient in all breed designs. She is a graduate of Nanhall Grooming School in Greensboro N.C. and subsequently trained and employed by a Certified Master Groomer. Ms. Bayne owned and operated All My Friends Pet and Grooming in Hickory N.C. and relocated with her husband to the Pittsburgh area. Ms. Bayne has over a decade of experience in the field of pet grooming. The student will benefit from Ms. Bayne’s outstanding styling skills and expertise in dog grooming, handling techniques, procedures and equipment maintenance.
